Canada Day - Graduation Party @ The Jordans

Friday, June 30th, 5:00pm ( a slight amendment has been made: we will no longer require a Canadian Content portion... you may wimpout on this aspect if you so choose*^)As per our last Canadian celebration, there will be a 'Canadian-content' portion of the evening. Come in your RED & WHITE, byob, mabye a salad or some other munchie. We will have burgers and hot dogs on the bbq. Feel free to bring a sleeping bag and crash overnight. We will also have the pool set up, so tell the kids to bring a bathing suit and towel.

Dear St. Hermanites (especially those young ones who love "The Hockey Sweater"),

I will miss the opportunity to read the hockey sweater at the traditional Canada gathering at the Jordan's. If there is anybody there who can pull off a good Quebecois accent, I hereby charge that person with the duty of reading "The Hockey Sweater" a la Jean Chretien for the edification of the faithful.

How I miss those soirees.

I bet Jean-Claude could pull off a decent french accent. Ya think? It might sound a little fake coming from him, but...
I actually have this Friday off, which is pretty much a miracle. So, assuming I can get myself out there, I will be there with bells on! Canadian bells of course. Instead of a chime, they're ring: "eh, eh, eh!"

actually, I just thought of a good substitute:
bring a good canadian cd that you have.
tragically hip, arrogant worms, bruce cockburn, stompin' tom, etc.

but let it be known that the wimpouts, while brushing teeth in the morning might detect a slightly darker, more angled brow.
