is it st. nina or st. nino or does it matter? i am glad for st.nina's mission; they are getting down to business rather swiftly. good to see work to expand orthodoxy: way to go, saint ninO!!! :)
It is St NinA...knowing your penchance for adding "o"s to the ends of names, I thought I should clarify! We are very excited to be blessed with this patron. On an interesting side note; Fr Chris and Bishop SERAPHIM had a discussion over two years ago and during this discussion Fr Chris told Vladyka that he felt that God was leading him to go to St Vlads and then to return to Vancouver to serve the church in this mission field. As it turns out, this discussion took place the day after Vladyka had returned from Georgia. He said it was one of the most profound trips he had ever taken and was blessed to learn more about St Nina while there. Now here we sit having been to St Vlads and returned to fulfill the desire that God has firmly planted in our hearts--and St Nina is here with us. Thank God that He gives us these confirmations along the way!

Congratulations! This is happy news indeed!
Indeed! Many Blessings to you.
Cool fact: before we heard about this news, Krista and I met a girl named "Nina" yesterday at Church here in Edmonton.
Very, very exciting. I look forward to being a part of this new community. See you soon!
