i'm happy that what distinguishes us is our lack of anonymity. i think it is this aspect that can lead us into indiscretion and carelessness with our words. words are so powerful.
That is a long article... I will try and read it again when I am not so tired... had an interesting discussion with Fr. Chris about weblogs and community.
I too, think the fact that we are a physical community first guards and protects us... this a vehicle we can use to communicate with each other...
