Orthodox Readings - January

In the temporary absence of our annual calendar, please find attached a link below for January's Scripture Readings:

Happy Reading!

good idea-- for everybody who resolved to read the Bible more in 2008! ;-)

just so you are aware-- the OCA readings sometimes differ from the Greek ones. The OCA site also has more than just the epistle and gospel for the day.

or if that link doesn't work, just go to the oca.org main page and poke around looking for the scripture readings. Saint's lives, icons & hymns of the day are also available.

of course, _both_ the OCA and GOARCH lectionaries are not necessarily the same as the wall calendar we had last year either! you gotta love Orthodoxy-- organized religion it's not!

I tried to find the readings on the OCA site and could only find them for January 2007. That link was the best I could do...

If you scroll down to the bottom of today's reading on the oca.org site, there's a function that lets you look for the reading for any date of the year. Looks like you can only get them one date at a time though.
