More of our people than ever before live closer to the church building, the gathering place for our community, than ever before. There is much potential for service and outreach in between the regular services. anyone have any ideas? For one, I think we should start planning NOW for Christmas carolling in Advent-- perhaps in the Alaskan style of "starring" where the children make beautifully arrayed icon-stars on poles and carry them in procession to houses round about the church.....for another, perhaps the young mothers /homeschoolers from our parish could host a morning coffee social in the church hall not just for themselves, but for other young mothers in the area. <BR/>So, who's next with some ideas?Donna Farleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11884647995104136193noreply@blogger.com
